STEP 1:- To perform database authentication, you have to create tables to store the
users and roles detail.
Here are the MySQL scripts to create users and user_roles tables.
STEP 3:- Make sure you use Target Runtime as Apache Tomcat 7.0 and Dynamic web module version as 3.0.. STEP 4:- copy below jars to WEB-INF/lib folder.

- Table: users
CREATE TABLE users ( username VARCHAR(60) NOT NULL , password VARCHAR(60) NOT NULL , enabled TINYINT NOT NULL DEFAULT 1 , PRIMARY KEY (username));
- Table: user_roles
CREATE TABLE user_roles ( user_role_id int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, username varchar(60) NOT NULL, role varchar(60) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (user_role_id), UNIQUE KEY uni_username_role (role,username), KEY fk_username_idx (username), CONSTRAINT fk_username FOREIGN KEY (username) REFERENCES users (username));
